biography
Grace joined the MacIver Lab as the laboratory’s manager and research assistant in May 2018. She received her BA in neuroscience and her MPH from the University of Southern California. Prior to joining the lab, Grace worked at the Stanford Prevention Research Center and the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health.
In the MacIver Lab, Grace uses electrophysiology techniques to record the effects of novel anesthetics on electrical signals recorded from the hippocampal region of rodent brain slices. She intends to pursue a PhD in neuroscience in the future. Outside of the lab, Grace enjoys traveling, reading, and exploring different cultures through the lens of food.
